Some Vaca Spot

First off, thank you Jasmine for sharing your knowledge in the last post....without my permission. >:\ Anyway, we made it to Hawaii about five days ago. We were able to get a beach house! *wink* Imagine that. Turns out Mike's parents are even richer than Philip's! :D......*ahem* not that luggery matters. Since yesterday we stayed inside and unpacked and discussed where Tony's mom might be, today we decided to go outside and hang out at the beach! Of course Linda had to buy us bathing suits first, but once we ran into the waves together it felt like old times together. Just six teens hanging out without a care in the world. Dealing with normal teen problems.
Audree: Does this bathing suit make my butt look big? :-o
Instead of kids-on-the-run problems.
Philip: That guy looked at us suspiciously! He knows! :0
Sure there were moments where it was bad.
Tony: Uh...Jamie...you have something stuck to your butt. 0.O
But overall it was a great day!
"I feel sick..." Audree said as we sat on the sand drying off
"How come?" I asked "You looked completely fine when you and Mike were
'wreastling'." I smiled
Audree rolled her eyes. "He ate my sandwich!"
   "That's what they all say."
Audree sighed. "I just feel like I have millions of pounds of worries."
I massaged my shoulders. "Believe me, I feel the same way."
Audree sighed again.
"But, you know," I began "that's why we came out here. To relax and have some fun before we have to worry again."
Audree smiled and then made a disgusted face. "Ugh, is this what adults feel? Worried about their family and how they need to protect and look out for them because they are too innocent to look at the world in a cruel way?"
My eyes widened. "I sure hope not."
We both gave a dry laugh. I was trying to think of something fun to suggest while we sat there to cheer Audree up but, I looked over and saw Tony and Mike running up with a volley ball and smiling like crazy. Oh no....
"Check it!" Tony smiled holding the ball like it was a gold nugget
"Those college girls just asked us to play volley ball with them!" Mike cheered nodding at these really athletic looking girls surrounding a volley ball net on the other side of the beach.
"We need more people on our team." Tony explained "You in?"
   "I don't know..." I said unsure
Then one of the college girls came running up. She had dark bouncy hair up to her shoulders and I was in love with her golden color skin and hazel eyes.
"You boys coming or what?" she said charming us with her brilliant smile, she also winked at Mike and despite his dark skin color he was blushing
"I'm in!" Audree said getting up with a smug look on her face
"You sure kid?" the girl said raising an eyebrow
She snatched the ball from Tony. "I just hope you can keep up." she turned and took off running to the volley ball net where the other girls greeted her
   "Come on Jamie." Tony urged
I wiggled my toes nervously. I knew how to play volley ball, I just...didn't play too great.
"Hey Tony!" called a blonde girl from the volley ball net
Tony looked over to her.
"Flip your hair for us!" she called
Tony did so flipping his straight locks and then brushing them back out of his face. All the girls screamed and cheered and I'm pretty sure I heard a "He's so hot!" coming from the direction. >:\
"Okay, I do it." I said getting up and brushing myself off.
"You don't have to if you don't want to." he said
"Tony, the girl said she'll do it." the bronze goddess said putting on her shades
"Yeah," I agreed "I'll do it."
"Don't worry." she said "I'll tell my team to take it easy on you."
That was probably a lie 'cause next thing I knew one of the girls spiked a ball in my face!
"Janet!" the bronze goddess said (whose name I found out later was Carmen) "Take it easy." she told her teammate but I saw them giggle to each other and shared a silent high five. Now I was ticked.
"You okay?" Tony asked beside me
"I'm fine." I lied. My cheeks burned like crazy
On my team was Audree (who doesn't look happy), Tony (I don't like how these girls stick their butts in his face, I don't care if its part of the game) Jasmine (who is talking about beating up these girls up after words, which won't happen) Stacy (frisky redhead), Mallory (tomboy), Dylan (who on earth would name their daughter Dylan??!!) and Jordan (the girl who will not stop telling Tony to flip his hair! Its wavy and delicious, we get it!) On the opposite team was Mike (poor Mike had to be surrounded by gorgeous models) Carmen (the bouncy hair bronze goddess) Janet (the Asian girl who takes these games too seriously) Coco (who is so pale I have no idea why they call her that) Maddy (who will not stop saying all the things I do wrong when I hit the ball) Zo (whose Hispanic accent is so deep I just tuned her out) Piper (who doesn't seem to mind that her top in coming off) and Copper (what is up with some peoples names these days?) Philip stood on the side lines and kept track of points.
The game was eventually tied and we each needed one point to win. My plan was to lay low and let everyone do the work. (which was my plan from the start) But then the ball was coming straight in my direction and my teammates were calling for me to hit it. I bent down and shot up hitting the ball in the perfect spot. It flew back up into the air and everyone wavered tyring to figure out where it would land. Then is landing on top of the net. The very tip! It stood there for a moment and everyone panicked for a moment. Then is slowly fell on the other teams side. Maddy immediately hit the ball and it flew back onto our side. I thought Dylan had it as it went over my head but then...she didn't. It bounced on the ground once....twice..and we had failed. The other team cheered and huddled sharing their sweat and stinky pits with each other. Meanwhile our team started arguing on whose fault it was.
When we got home and showered and ate Philip showed us all of the seashells he had collected while Mike and Tony shared stories of how they got those girls numbers. At first Audree and I were upset by this but then we saw them throw the numbers out. Its not like they can call them anyway. :)
